Westhampton Beach High School senior Trevor Hayes has earned a prestigious 2023 Heisman High School Scholarship award as part of the annual Heisman High School Scholarship competition.

Hayes earned the award following an application process that included his academic and athletic successes and community involvement. He was one of 4,878 students from across the country to receive the recognition.

Hayes is an accomplished student-athlete. He holds an All-American title in the steeple chase and multiple All-State and All-County titles in cross-country and winter and spring track and field. As for academics, he is an honors student and a member of his school’s National Honor Society, for which he serves in the role of parliamentarian. He is also an Eagle Scout.

Hayes intends to study mechanical engineering in college.

The Westhampton Beach School District extends its congratulations to Trevor Hayes on this impressive accomplishment.
