Westhampton Beach Elementary School is celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month during the month of May with a variety of activities. Students are sharing biographies of famous Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders over the school’s public address system and on display boards in the school’s hallways. They have also been reading books and watching videos on the importance of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and different cultures and traditions.
