Westhampton Beach High School seniors, dressed in their best, learned more about the careers they hope to pursue during the 20th annual Senior Skills Breakfast held at the Westhampton Beach Country Club on Oct. 27.

During the breakfast, over 60 area professionals served as mentors to the ambitious students in attendance. The professionals shared their knowledge, experience and advice with the students, who were also able to ask questions. Fields represented included law, engineering, accounting and law enforcement.

The breakfast’s keynote speech was delivered by Sydney Marks, a 2013 Westhampton Beach High School graduate and private wealth manager at the Royal Bank of Canada.

The event was made possible through generous financial sponsorships from the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce and Westhampton Rotary.

“This networking event allowed students to make valuable connections in their desired future career fields and gain helpful advice from experienced professionals in our community,” said business teacher Amy Demchak-Connell.
