In recognition of Fire Prevention Week, Westhampton Beach Elementary School students took part in hands-on fire safety lessons led by members of the Westhampton Beach Fire Department. Students learned important fire safety practices, including how to use smoke alarms and fire extinguishers, when to call 911 and how to safely exit through a window using the department’s smoke house simulator.
