Fundations

Fundations Level K consists of 5 units of thorough and multisensory structured lessons of teaching foundational reading and spelling skills, supplementing core language arts instruction. Daily activities will lead students towards mastery of recognition and identification of all 26 lowercase and uppercase letters, letter-sound correspondence, and alphabetical order.

The blended print and digital curriculum covers all Next Generation Science Standards at every grade level. Exploration is the heart of science. The Quest problem-based activity is an exploration that anchors each topic. Students "figure out" the problem's solution as they navigate the topic's lessons. It's real science with engaging phenomena. Students apply their knowledge and skills to master the new science standards.

The New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSESLAT) is designed to annually assess the English language proficiency of all English Language Learners (ELLs) enrolled in Grades K–12 in New York State schools. The test provides the State and schools with important information about the English language development of ELLs and is part of the State’s compliance with federal laws that mandate the annual assessment and monitoring of the English language proficiency of all ELLs.
