Envision Math is grounded in problem-based and visual
learning that enable students to gain a deeper understanding of math
concepts. The program also features resources to encourage student-led
learning both in the classroom and at home.
Fountas & Pinnell Classroom™
(FPC) is a cohesive, multi-text approach to literacy instruction for
all students in grades PreK–6. The System is designed to support
whole-group, small-group and independent learning opportunities
including: interactive read-aloud; reading minilessons; writing
minilessons; shared reading; phonics, spelling, and word study; guided
reading; book clubs; and independent reading collections. Fountas &
Pinnell Classroom™ is rich with authentic texts, lessons or conferring
cards, minilessons and professional learning tools for a systematic,
transformative approach to literacy instruction.
Fundations
Level 1 consists of 14 units of thorough and multisensory structured
lessons of teaching foundational reading and spelling skills,
supplementing core language arts instruction. The units will reinforce
the basic skills that were learned in Kindergarten and progress further
into the study of work structure. Students will be provided with a wide
variety of text experiences,, including poetry, narratives, and
informational texts.
Heggerty (Phonemic Awareness)
Phonemic
Awareness is the understanding that spoken words are made up of
individual sounds, called phonemes. A child who is phonemically aware is
able to isolate sounds, blend and segment sounds, and manipulate sounds
in spoken words. The daily activities in the Heggerty Phonemic
Awareness curriculum provide students with oral and auditory skills to
develop these essential reading skills. The Heggerty Phonemic Awareness
curriculum provides educators with 35 weeks of explicit Phonemic
Awareness lessons.
Elevate Science is a complete
K-5 science program that elevates thinking, learning, and teaching! The
blended print and digital curriculum covers all Next Generation Science
Standards at every grade level. Exploration is the heart of science.
The Quest problem-based activity is an exploration that anchors each
topic. Students "figure out" the problem's solution as they navigate the
topic's lessons. It's real science with engaging phenomena. Students
apply their knowledge and skills to master the new science standards.
MyWorld Social Studies
Learning
comes alive through storytelling, literacy instruction, and flexible
resources. Stories from our world engage students and help develop
thoughtful, literate citizens. Lessons apply inquiry processes, practice
reading and writing, and involve collaboration and communication
skills. Blended learning experiences include an interactive Student
Worktext and digital courseware. Share the story of our democratic
ideals, communities, and people! |
