Westhampton Beach Elementary School students recently learned more about the importance of caring for the environment and the Moriches Bay Project’s mission to re-establish populations of shellfish and eelgrass. During a special program on March 7, the students worked with Moriches Bay representatives, as well as their teachers and parents, to construct oyster cages that will be used to help re-establish the oyster population.
