The Westhampton Beach School District extends its congratulations to the high school robotics team for taking first place recently at the Half Hollow Hills robotics invitational. The team competed in a field of 23 schools at the annual competition in which three-team alliances maneuvered their robots to collect cones and cubes to add to their “energy grids” and balance on a platform in a two-minute time period.
