The Westhampton Beach School District recently hosted a successful inaugural community service fair. The fair, open to all community members, students and families, gave students the opportunity to explore various volunteer prospects. Local organizations included the Kiwanis Club of Southampton Town, the Rotary Club of Southampton, the VFW, animal shelters, the Marine Search and Rescue Team, HUGS, the Town of Southampton Youth Bureau, the Westhampton Beach Fire Department, Canine Companions, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department and many more. Students also enjoyed performing with Kenn and Spencer, founders of OOMPA (the Organization of Open Mic Performing Artists).
