As part of a new community service outreach initiative, librarians from the Westhampton Beach High School Library and Westhampton Free Library are working in tandem to offer students community service hours.

Through the collaboration, which kicked off on Oct. 5, students had the opportunity to stay after school and design thank-you cards for veterans to fulfill their community service graduation requirement. Going forward, the libraries plan to offer additional community service activities for students.
